feste_sylvainOh happy day! The World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness Report is out! They've got it all: macroeconomics, institutions, infrastructure, human services, education, market efficiency, technology, business sophistication, and innovation!
The U.S. is still in the Top Ten, but we've dropped from #2 to #6 (mostly thanks to Dubya's budget fiascos).
And here's a shocker: oil is simultaneously more and less important than ever before! This has to do with the definition of "important", and which context you bring it up in.
I'll be pecking at this PDF all day, I can tell.
What? None of the rest of you care? Oh well.
