For those of you who don't know, "Feste" is the jester/clown/fool in Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night (or, What You Will)". His most recognized line is, "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them". What is not widely known is that, with the word "thrust", he spits into the face of Malvolio, the Puritan.
When signing up for LJ, I chose "Feste", as I have in numerous other locations in cyberspace.
However, this proved to be insufficiently original, as someone else had already claimed that tag before I showed up.
So I looked around me, saw that I live in forest, and that this is one of the defining characteristics of my personality, and so tacked on "_sylvain".
I am the laughter in the woods.
