I had food which was way too rich at the pool-side BBQ yesterday; it gave me indigestion, knocked me out early in the evening, and I woke up with it around 2am.

Today, I am feeling lurgy and stupid. I read things, but mostly they don't stick.

Also: my car is still in the shop.

The Red Sox are not playing today. Some schedule-maker out there was apparently also lurgy and stupid.

My elder daughter informed me for the first time this morning that she has her own pool party to attend. Why she told me, rather than the parent with the car, I don't know.

I'm pretty sure she has to get back to her dorm some time today.

Laundry is happening, due to spilt milk. The dining room table was probably saved, no thanks to the milk spiller.

I have to fill out the accident report for the insurance company some time today. Or tomorrow.

And I still have to figure out the decorations for tamidon's birthday party next Sunday. Which means a trip to iParty some time this week with the family's only functioning car.

When's autumn?
