All About the Timing
Dec. 20th, 2006 09:12 amDespite slogging thru the last two days, I'm home sick today.
My younger is also sick. Too sick to spend the day with
bridgetminerva and
aileenmuira. So my elder got ready all bright and early, only to be told that we aren't going at all. (Actually, we'll probably drop just her off some time this afternoon.)
So
tamidon heads off to work.
And then the lights go off in my bathroom. And bedroom. Nowhere else in the house, just there.
Yes, I checked the circuit breakers. No, nothing had tripped.
"Fortunately", I'm home sick, so I can call the electrician. They've got someone at a job in Harvard (MA, not university), who should be able to come around between 2pm and 4pm.
On the day the cleaners are coming (before my parents arrive for the holiday).
