As the death-defying heat is expected to trigger the occasional brown-out, our offices are turning off all unnecessary appliances. As a result, many of us are working in the dark, illuminated only by the glow of our monitors.

It's so... romantic. Seriously. We are silhouetted and highlighted, people are speaking just above whispers, and I can almost hear Barry White in the background.
