I had thought that I'd posted something Saturday about Friday and Saturday (Adira's birthday), but that appears to have been eaten by the evil LJ Data-Center Power Outage.

Let's just summarize by saying that Happy Things are happening, the yard is re-raked, and that my younger daughter is now eight years old. She is exactly the same height that her sister was at that birthday.

And that my brother and his wife are the most excellent gift-givers EVAR. Who else would have given her an official "Owl Puke Dissection Kit"?
