Another Sox Game, Another Cardiac

Tim Wakefield is not well.

I know that no pitcher wants to miss a start, but he really should. He missed a game or two with a sore back, but giving up eight (8) runs to the Devil Rays should really convince him that he's not well yet. After getting a decision in his first 26 starts, he now has two starts since the injury where he couldn't get to the 4th inning.

So we're down 8 to 1.

Make that 8 to 5.

No, 9 to 5.

9 to 8.

9 to 9.

9 to 9, bases loaded, no outs, and Kevin Youklis at bat.

Now, with a bases-clearing triple, we're up 12 to 9.

13 to 9. Coco Crisp bats in Youk.

14 to 9. Coco himself scores.

15 to 9. Big Papi hits a home run.

16 to 9. J.D. Drew hits a home run.

We bring back Eric Gagne for the end of the game, and true to his end-of-career form, he gives up another run. But by now, that's just a post-script.

Can we have two of our runs from tonite and apply them to the game before?
